We make less,
on purpose.
The problem
Fast fashion made us worse owners
The average garment is worn seven times before it's thrown away. MONO exists to be the exception — a small set of pieces built from dense fabric, cut without trend, and priced to be owned rather than consumed.
We don't do seasonal pivots or micro-trends. When a piece is good enough to ship, we ship it until it's gone. That's the whole business model.
How we work
Design
Twelve pieces a season, not ninety. Every silhouette is drawn, worn, and redrawn before it enters the line.
Materials
Dense, natural fabrics sourced from mills we can name. Wool, cotton, and cupro — nothing made to fail.
Craft
Cut and constructed in small runs across Portugal and Japan. Repairs handled in-house, free for life.
Archive
Every season is numbered and permanent. When it sells out, it is retired — no reissues, no nostalgia machine.
The atelier
"Good clothes should outlive the season they were made in."
Every MONO piece carries a repair promise. Bring it back to us for life — we'll mend, re-dye, and re-hem anything we've made. A wardrobe that lasts is the most sustainable thing you can buy.
